Exactly, which means probably never, although 'sad' is not exactly the emotion I am feeling. Happy for the season, but it hardly mitigates the screwing we just received. Hmmm, wonder when one of the 10 greatest RBs in college FB history will be honored with a HOF induction?

I wouldn't call them "garbage"...just not what 10 wrinkle-y men were interested in. Let's face it, they were looking for any excuse not to include SMU...we acquiesced.
I hear you, and I'm not trying to spin this. Frankly, I should probably stop posting until October! That said, a few wins against UConn, Cincy, and Memphis didn't counterbalance games against a bad TCU, a bad URI, a bad Texas State, a bad Arkansas PB, SHSU, a bad McNeese, a bad UIC, a bad Tex - Pan Am, a bad Hofstra, and several really bad AAC members (some of which we lost to). Half the schedule was against really bad teams. HCLB will upgrade, have faith. IMO, the 2014-2015 season starts Wednesday...
Okay. For the umpteenth million time. The crappy OOC was due to SMU playing in a high school gym (Garland's Culwell Center) that most people in Dallas have no clue of where it's located. . . Judging from this season ticket holder who made every 100 mile round trip to watch Now that Moody is operational, should be better OOC games in Dallas. . . TCwho will find out about lousy OOC schedule this year playing in the FWISD high school gym (Wilkerson Greines), since their coliseum will be closed this year.
I spoke w/the staff about the schedule in the offseason, and the reality is that we scheduled the OOC to get wins, no other reason. It was about momentum heading into moody, and getting a postseason bid of some kind. It was not about SOS or rpi, just w's. We got what we scheduled for even though we deserved better. Next year, I expect them to bring a consultant in to help w schedule and avoid the multitude of 200 plus rpi's.

I was wondering about that. I'm glad to hear you mention it as a possibility.

Thanks Hoopmanx, I hope they bring in a good consultant.
