I don't have a problem with anybody scalping their tickets. But we are going to pay tonight in the form of empty seats. A lot of people over-estimated the demand for this game. While Stubhub may be second nature to all of us, there are fans who will not look into going to the game because they've heard it's sold out. They won't realize they can get in for the same price on scalper sites or around Moody.

These tickets were not easy to get, and I'm surprised so many season ticket holders bought extras to try to make a few bucks. Or is there some way scalpers got several hundred tickets without being season ticket holders? I know some scalpers are season ticket holders, but it can't be that many.

we didn't underestimate demand for THIS game-many instead just hoped that it would be against Arkansas which might have been the biggest scalper's bonanza in SMU History

Great thing about Moody, 500 empty seats in the rafters won't have a perceptible impact on floor-level crowd volume. Just don't want to see any empties inside the bowl.

444 left starting at 9 bucks….

I'll bet that it's down to 200 by 6 pm or so.

Word gets around.

You guys whining about this are being little cry babies. Stubhub is the greatest. My family and friends could never afford Mavs, Rangers, Stars Season tickets without this resource to recoup some of our money.

And the tickets for tonight are still selling like crazy, and i bet you will not hear any complaining from the buyers. Haven't seen one sale go for less than face. Moody will be packed.

I don't know; all things being relative, I remember an Arkansas fan offering me $100 each for my seats back in the Koncak vs Klein era when face value was only $7 for my seats that were 2 rows up in the mezzanine behind the SMU bench. Of course my response was a polite "fat chance"

Really? Corndogs are the best you can do? Guide a few ships into the dock, then we can mock.
