No, I went home after the game, but I have been in a scuffle or two with them in Tuscaloosa.

It was funny. A guy who's both an Alabama fan (undergrad) and an SMU MBA walks right up to a group of very large LSU fans and tells them exactly what he thinks of their school. He's alone and weighs about 180. They collectively weigh about 1280. Not sure why they didn't kill him.

Former SWC ex pat Arkansas. Them leaving was the first nail in the SWC coffin. Plus they have that stupid pig suey chant. Add in Jerry Jones and the hate circle is complete.

Other non Texas team hate: ND, but everybody hates them.

Having grown up in Arkansas and being a big fan until going to SMU, I still have some like for them. But I rate them at the top of my list for most obnoxious fans. Only worse I have heard discussed are Ohio State fans but having never been to an OSU game I can only claim Arkansas at the top.

I still argue that point. What Grant did was train a punter that when a team lined up in a certain way that the fake should be automatic. We lined up wrong and got burned. Now common decency would say don't do it but if Teaff does not know how we are going to line up there is not much he could do to control it. That is my understanding of how it happened.

Yes, Bama fans can act awful - no question. But, some of us clean up nicely. Having said that, LSU can really p*ss me off fast, Tennessee even quicker. But, I'm 50 and my brawling days are over!

And, SMU beating LSU was a grand night for me!!!

In all due respect sir, you're mistaken. Teaff was quoted after the game as saying that the fake punt was payback
for a personal foul committed by SMU earlier in the game.

No he never said that. Simply fantasy brewed from Baylor hate. He said the punter had an audible that he checked into when SMU lined up wrong. Hell quite frankly every team kept the score down that year except UH.

BTW I answered before seeing mrydel's correct answer above-that's what Grant Teaff said
