I already gave my belief of the schedule. I think it's MORE THAN EXCEPTIONALLY BALANCED. This is the schedule that SMU can handle. You chose to disagree with it because your thought process is governed by the RPI. That's fine. You want SMU to play a non-conference schedule that includes the entire ACC and Big 10.

I'm sorry if you're really upset about paying for pricy home games against opponents that don't get you jazzed (because this is what this is really about).

I know I'm going to go to Moody and watch them play. You're not going to ask for a refund over this, are you?

First, when have I ever complained about the bball program, other than with this issue? Please let me know. Also, I've never once complained about the ticket price increase. I'm more than happy to pay. Will I ask for a refund? No, I've had season tickets for a long time and not renewing, or asking for refund will never be an option for me.

Last year we were left out of the tournament because our OOC opponents' RPI was very suspect. My thought process is not governed by RPI, the selection committee is. The biggest complaint last year was the bottom end of our OOC was so bad. This year's is just as bad. While I don't think we'll leave any doubt about making the tourney this season, I don't understand why we add Lamar and E Washington to our OOC, especially when we drop our only natural rival. BTW, asking questions or raising concerns does necessarily mean you're whining.

I think LA was simply correctly questioning whether SMU had addressed what the NCAA found to be the weakness of our resume. The lack of 2nd tier team victories over the Top 50-100 or 150 teams. Again, we dropped 2 games with Louisville

I agree with Ojai. I think 9-2. I think anything less would be a disappointment.

UNT is CUSA...TCU is Big 12...How is that a better fit considering our aspirations to become a Power 5 program?

I don't think that is true. UNT was 13-16 last year, played in a terrible conference and was 0-9 against teams in the top 100. TCU did really struggle in conference, but it was arguably the toughest conference in the country. Also, TCU beat the winner of C-USA - Tulsa, twice. Tulsa destroyed UNT, twice.
