Re: Student ejectionsMe too. It is awesome.
Re: Student ejectionsAnd it is 30 years old.
Re: Student ejectionsThe students getting into the heads of the opposing team and coaches is a part of college basketball. I hope that they continue to be creative on this front. As long as the lines posted above are not crossed - they should not be tossed. And I highly doubt that those lines were crossed last night.
IMO - Old woman hags who complain to security should be escorted out of the building. Hopefully the students can get in their game in time for this guy coming to town... ![]() "Moral Victories Make Me Sick" - TR

Re: Student ejectionsYou guys are starting to sound like sand aggie fans, yes lets support classless behavior.
Re: Student ejections
Example?
Re: Student ejectionsI wish this thread would die. When I see "Student ejections" I read something else.
Pony up!
Re: Student ejections
go back and read the thread
Re: Student ejectionsLuigi and Lobster got ejected upon the request of the opposing coach, which is honestly astounding that he could make it to where he is (granted, it is just Monmouth) with thin skin like that. I live with Luigi and he told me after the game that he coach just turned around to the police officer and said, "I want him out of here."
We got a lot of attention from the Texas Southern coach as well, but it was much more jovial. I think the problem is that with such little noise from the rest of the student section, the opponents and their fans hear every word, appropriate though it may be, loud and clear and get pissed. I'm really expecting better from upcoming coaches
Re: Student ejections
Everything in the thread sounds within reason to me. There were no allegations of anything inappropriate or 'classless,' hence I'm asking for an example.
Re: Student ejections
Also astounding considering he played at Carolina. Guess they don't play in hostile, irreverent environments. Oh wait..
Re: Student ejectionsWhy is our security listening to the opposing coach?
Our security should have said...sorry you are losing. It's not unusual here. Suck it up.
Re: Student ejectionsYes, part of being at home. Sorry for you visitor. Again, if nothing crossed the line, then, no harm , no foul.
Re: Student ejectionsAs one who basically started doing this at mid court 40 years ago, there is a fine line between good heckling and bad heckling. Good heckling, Hey shorty stand up. Or Nice pass when the guy turns it over. If you see any one player react to heckling, he then becomes the target and gets put under the microscope during the game. You look tired. and so forth. Bad heckling. Anything involving profanity. Anything involving something really personal like the guy's girlfriend or family or skin color although that pending rape charge might be a source of some fun. Like in Baltimore when Rothlesburger ran onto the field after that little incident, the crowd chanted "no means no". Aggies are always fun. Do they have computers at A&M or do you use the big pencils? Anyway, have fun, keep it clean and just be annoying in a fun and creative way. Oh, and telling the opposing teams' coach to sit down when he argues with the ref, always a classic.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
