So is it SMU grades that he is ineligible now or allegations OTHER than grades? I have read multiple sources and no one makes it clear.

In unrelated news, SMU has self imposed a 2 year bowl ban for its football program to address undisclosed violations. The ban is retroactive to 2013.

You know we just need to wait and see what if anything this is all about. It may be a DISD thing and not an SMU thing at all. Perhaps DISD heard which players had college offers and acted to get them eligible without SMU's involvement at all. I can't believe that if our one DISD recruit was tainted that Scott Drew got all the scholars at Baylor who didn't have "help". If this has the ability to blow up against UT and A&M, it will disappear quietly. If it has the ability to blow up and only hit SMU and Baylor, the dogs will be unleashed.
