Did the SMU players acknowledge the fans?

Yes it was mainly Kennedy, he got up on his chair and waved his arms up several times, to get louder.

Just got back to okc, it was so much fun. Possibly 100 SMU fans, but I would say we were louder than the entire crowd.

Takes from the game,
When they were doing the starting lineups for us they were playing the theme song for "My little Pony" which I thought was pretty clever.

The student section was pathetic and unoriginal,

First chant they were yelling was "Get A Job" not really sure why.

The were flipping us off the entire game. One student was trying to get over at us and security kept pushing him away.

Not sure why the police allowed them to keep the "F- You, SMU" it was the only cant they said in the 2nd half.

The boos were great during the loud S-M-U chant, it made the S-M-U chant get even louder.

walking out several TU fans apologized for the student section. I am guessing they will get remanded by the admin next week.

I don't think they knew how to act towards visiting crowds because not sure they get many visiting team fans.

This. Kinda reminded me of the SMU student section. (Lots of energy, low creativity, and responsive rather than proactive.)

Loved the energy though... brought me back to my drunken days in the SMU student section.

Awesome road game to be at. We made our presence known and it was definitely noticed by the team.

We also took over Fassler Hall before the game. Saw a TU fan walk in and walk right back out.

Tulsa student section was classless but that made it even more fun. Didn't appreciate when they booed Nic relentlessly when he got hurt. Continued to call him a [deleted] when he was headed back to the locker room for a concussion test.

It was pretty obvious they didn't really know how to act when an opposing crowd takes over

I was two rows behind you for the game and came down for this pic.

The F-You SMU chant is the last resort of most teams we beat.

I liked the energy of their students, they're just not used to having to be creative (and losing).

The band played way too much, but I liked the Radiohead selection.

The player reading sing lyrics from a book was so lame. It would have multiple hate threads on PF, but they scorned us when we booed it.

Cool arena, got deafeningly loud at times, and we handled it like champs.

SmooSon has been camping with boy scouts all weekend and promised that win or lose, we would watch the replay of the game together and he would avoid finding out the score while gone. It's gonna be a fun afternoon.

I am very disappointed that you guys did not storm the court, but I guess you did ok.

Wife and I watched the game and loved seeing the "fans in the stands" Our FITS give the other team fits.

Be kind, classy and proud while you yell and scream encouragement to our players.

I sometimes even yell at the refs helping them do their best.

Great to the win and to pick out 20 people I know in the stands..... picture did not catch too many rows up.
