Surely we put this win down to the fact that Jamal was scoring. 27 points and we squeak it by one. If he has his scoring boots on we have a chance (at least against this caliber of team) but if he is off, where are the points coming from? two other players in double figures won't cut it. Remember when we regularly had all 5 starters in double figures?

1) is that the first game we have won on our last offensive possession since Nic’s dagger vs Cal?
Am I forgetting one?

2) was that last Coast to coaster by Whitt what Jank drew up in the huddle or was that simply Whitt
saying F-you.... I’m doing this?

I believe that is what you want in your PG, i.e., the ability to take it to the hole unless/until someone stops you and to dish to whoever might be open for an open last shot. Whitt was "on" yesterday and knew he could post his guy and get the same shot he had been making all night. For the sake of having a respectable season, we need to hope Jarrey can come back and become another "go to" guy because Whitt and McMurray can't be counted on to be hot every game and it would help Chargois, Mike, Hunt & Dixon if they were scoring options 4,5, 6 & 7
