Team has to re-group. We can still salvage the season, if not our ranking.

We did beat aTm and other teams on the road and neutral courts.

last I checked A&M is ranked in the 170's

I am just saying that we have won on a neutral court.

Tough loss. Really looked like we were fading down the stretch and just didn't have the energy to finish. Missing free throws like we did is a sign of lack of focus... and being tired definitely hurts focus. team just looked like they were physically worn down from traveling and being away from home for, what, 5 straight days.

Was still a bit surprised by how little Frazier played. Like others have said, could have used his outside shot today.

Gotta get home, get rested, and re-group. Can't let one loss turn into two.

Will Cummings picked Nic Moore's pocket at the end there.

Look on the bright side, this is the last road game against the bottom 5, we won't have anymore bad losses the rest of the year

Funny thing about rankings. They only matter at the end of the season.

Win the games we're supposed to from here on out and I think this team is in the tournament. Steal a couple big wins (Memphis @ Memphis and Louisville @ Moody) and we're back to talking seeding instead of just talking about making it.

So I had us finishing the regular season 23-8 and final 25-10. This was definitely a penciled in W. If we steal one at UConn or Louisville or at Memphis and beat both UCF and Houston, then I'll still be right. :-)

Just sucks that we'll lose our ranking. Not sure we can get it back by the end of the season. Maybe.

No energy, looked very tired. we were whipped badly on boards, and missed a bunch of chippies. And half of our freethrow misses barely drew iron. Just looked tired.
Bad losses happen, too bad it was right after getting ranked. They will learn from this.

Regroup, play hard, and go SMU!

Outrebounded 38-25 (-13)
12-4 on Offensive Boards

WOW!

Plus I believe the Top Rebounder in the AAC didn't play for Temple!!

Essentially handed them 7-8 points from FT line as they shot 21-25 and we shot 14-26

Just got back from the game - ugly!!! Seems like once Nic Moore got his 2nd foul things went downhill. The game atmosphere was awful. First time for me at the Liacouras Center and I was not impressesed. Their crowd really wasn't into the game and they probably had about 15 random mascots (Philly phanatic, pretzel head, piggy, etc.) out on the court every time out. So bizarre. Of course it sort of matched our bizarre play. There was a good SMU turnout and the Mustang Club event prior to the game and it was fun and well attended. Rick Hart was there, along with one of the assistants. They were both very engaged with the crowd.

Think I'm now banned from attending basketball games as I must have brought bad luck.

Maybe if it were bad luck... but our guys just flat out didn't deserve to win today unfortunately. Hopefully next time you make it to a game, they'll show up to play.
