Just got back from the game - ugly!!! Seems like once Nic Moore got his 2nd foul things went downhill. The game atmosphere was awful. First time for me at the Liacouras Center and I was not impressesed. Their crowd really wasn't into the game and they probably had about 15 random mascots (Philly phanatic, pretzel head, piggy, etc.) out on the court every time out. So bizarre. Of course it sort of matched our bizarre play. There was a good SMU turnout and the Mustang Club event prior to the game and it was fun and well attended. Rick Hart was there, along with one of the assistants. They were both very engaged with the crowd.

Think I'm now banned from attending basketball games as I must have brought bad luck.

Halftime was even more bizarre when they had the mascots attempt to play basketball and had a girl out there trying to see how many balloons she could pop by sitting on them (within the prescribed time limit).

A bad fundamental game all around. Not blocking out and allowing something like 18 second chance points. Missing free throws always loses games against bad teams. Bad teams foul and the way you beat them is by taking the gifts they give you. We couldn't buy a free throw down the stretch. Make those misses and its a Pony Win. Tired legs are probably the culprit, especially down the stretch.

I apologize for bringing this up in the game thread - should have left it alone. But we warned you and you did it anyway.

I think I contributed to the jinxing us also by being Damon Hancocky and texting my buddy to taunt Temple at tip.

Thanks for the report. I look dead on TV - until we let them back into the game. Glad you went and there was SMU fans there. I saw some on the telecast.

You can go to future games, but only when we are underdogs. ; ). You just have to go to one in Moody. We are hard to beat there and it will break your jinx.

Something I didn't notice-Temple played only 7 players and had only 3 Bench points
More concerning SMU had only 12 Bench Points which I believe is -20 from average
