Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC games
surprised they aren't enjoying more support given the season they are having, but then again...this was their 1st win against a ranked team this year. How many times have we heard that excuse from SMU fans...start beating top 25 teams and they will come, right?
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesZona's 2 point road win at Stanford to knock the Cardinal out of their 1st place tie is a big one
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC games
K-State wins by 5 but TCU is still pretty solid. Road wins against good teams are really hard to come by.
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesUCF pulls out a 2 point win at USF in their 1st game without Tacko
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC games8-10 in the Big XII will almost certainly get TCU in the NCAA tournament.
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesI think so. They should be able to beat OSU, KSU, Baylor, UT, Texas Tech at home. They have a good chance against ISU and OSU on the road. They should also beat Vanderbilt on the road. Win 6 of those conference games plus the game at Vanderbilt and they finish 21-10 which would almost certainly get them in the NCAA tournament.
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesThis does not involve any OOC or AAC games but Im watching UCLA/Oregon. Bill Walton is nuttier than ever. I think he has really taken advantage of the legal marijuana laws on the west coast.
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesNevada up 35-29 over Boise State at half
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesNevada defeats Boise 74-68
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesTemple beat a respectable (12-6) Penn team last night 60-51 and finishes 3-2 in their annual Philadelphia challenge series.
Western KY loses at home 66-62 to Middle Tennessee Tulsa pulls away from Memphis and wins a home game 64-51 USC wins at Oregon State 74-67
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC games
Game played at Nevada, who still has to come to Boise for the rematch in Feb
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC games
I wouldn't mark those down as wins. OSU and TTU are playing very well.
He couldn't partake heavily while at UCLA due to Wooden but once he moved to Portland, I'm pretty sure that's where the heavy use began. Watching Pac-12 games with him is wild because he is all over the place and frequently goes on multi-minute tangents. His play-by-play analyst must command a premium for working with him.
