Sterling would become a national hero though
That lil story made me so happy

I would be happy with Greenville. It is a Fri - Sunday site, you can stay in Asheville which is a little over an hour away, and we get some payback on Coach K for his backroom deals that screwed us out of the tourney in Nic's first year.
By the way, change the ending of the story. Sterling smashes that little b*tch's nose with a forearm and the refs say "play on..........." And Sterling becomes a national hero, MVP of the championship game for the National Champs SMU and late first round pick......

if you stay in Asheville, YOU MUST EAT AT BUXTON HALL BBQ. that is all.

Even I have to admit that Grayson Allen has an eminently punchable face. Doesn't help he looks like Ted Cruz Jr.

Still would face Duke in round two and then Gonzaga/VT/Northwestern in round three.
Could be two straight teams from North Carolina if Wake were to win the play-in game in that scenario. Don't usually see a team with the much better seed as the "road" team but it's happened before. Palm (CBS) still has us matched up with Wichita St and then Baylor. I would much rather see a P5 (or Big East) team that squeaks in (except probably Mich St) than a Wichita or Middle Tenn.

We have been getting alot of predictions that match us up with Duke in the 2nd round. Would be a interesting matchup. Likely Semi on Tatum. Tough Matchup. Have to smother Kennard.
Would love to draw winner of Ill. St and KSU. Would hate the WF matchup in NC. They shoot the 3 pretty well and they have a dominant big man.

Would be complete bs to be the much higher seed having to play wake or anybody else in its backyard in round 1. From years of evidence, the committee generally rewards regular season conference champions. I assume they will reward smu with a favorable, or at least not unfavorable placement. If we play well this weekend, I can't see us getting screwed, but I am wary.

I'd rather go to Orlando where there's no hardcore bball fanbase nearby than get stuck on Tobacco Road. But all the predictions keep putting us in S.C.

I've got family all over Tobacco Road (well... in-laws, at least). I probably wouldn't want to play UNC or NC State there, but Duke is fine. People will come out of the woodwork to cheer for whoever Duke is playing; instant friendly crowd.

Also interesting to note that Houston has moved into Lunardi's first four out as of today since the middling power conference teams are losing early in the tournaments. Just saw this during halftime of the Duke-Louisville game.

Houston has creeped up to 51 in RPI...would be really nice for us if they broke into the arbitrary 'top 50' to give us 2 (or possibly 3) more quality wins.

Definitely. They are actually up to 50 at the moment.

I have no faith in the ncaa rewarding us w/ anything but the best way to screw us to the wall.
