He was so excited about all of the threes early it was almost like he was hoping they would keep making them so he could complain about it more.

Yeah nothing is more fun that watching your team make no adjustments while their vastly inferior opponent is dropping bombs from deep.
Back off Warchild seriously.

No doubt. I was just as frustrated! Three straight games is borderline ridiculous.

Or maybe you missed the adjustments that were made.

FWIW: next season, with the change of personnel, our perimeter D should be better. I just hope our team is too.

So we were just lucky they made only one FG in last 8 minutes and missed their last 6 threes?

The additions of Shake, Sed, Semi, and Tolbert should help but we also lose our best on-ball defender in RM. Collectively though we should be much better suited to guard on the perimeter next year.

Adjustments can be made and teams still hit shots. It's not legal to punch a guy in the balls when he's going up for a shot.

You're a clown; I've read where u said you were annoyed bc we just kept going under screens and never adjusted. You do understand that we switch on the pick and roll bc we can due to our athleticism, right? We rarely, if ever, go under screens. So, that is just objectively incorrect. They made some bombs and contested 3s. It happens. It was nice that we were so much better everywhere else that we were still able to pull it out. Anyone can win a 1 and done game. See: Nova over Georgetown in what is probably considered the single best shooting performance in cbb history.

How about a match up zone or well....anything other than 40 straight minutes of man? You watch enough college basketball to know that teams go in and out of defenses all the time. When was the last time you saw us do that?

It is however legal to elbow a dude in the head.

Look at our 3 point FG percentage for the season. Look at our last three opponents and how they've shelled us from three. There is far too much talent on this team to allow vastly inferior opposition to hang around b/c of poor perimeter defense. Hell we almost lost to UH in a similar fashion earlier this year and they are dreadful. Keep those blinders on if you think what we've done this season on the perimeter defensively is going to be good enough to win once Madness starts.

Zone defenses usually give teams better looks at threes. You want to defend a team killing it from the outside by switching from man-to-man to a zone??
I'm saying try something other than what has been your biggest defensive weakness all season. Or say screw it the June Jones way and "do what we do".
