Stuffing that last dunk... that at least makes it a bit easier to deal with.

how many layups did we miss? Gotta be 8 or so points there that we missed out on

I stopped counting at how many times they randomly threw the ball at the net without any hope of making it.

I'm sure ESPN is disappointed they gave us top billing in the Tip Off marathon.

Oh well. We still have a good team. We just don't handle adversity very well. Their crowd really rattled us and we don't have the stud to quite the crowd.

MK would have helped put some muscle in our game.

Yep, isn't Yanick a 5th year senior? He was owned by a freshman.

No but they kind of got sloppy at the end when they rested Pangos.

Zag dominate start to finish. That stupid 3-pt machine really put a damper in the night.

They are just that good and and without MK I think the team dynamic was off.

Bottomline it came down to:
1. Not rebounding worth a lick
2. Being impatient on offense due to.....
3. Larry Brown not using timeouts to get that team under control
4. Gonzaga I think is just that good

Agree agree agree.

I think he just missed the dunk not that it was stuffed.

A few things:

1 - Gonzaga is very good, especially at home. Definitely final four material.
2 - Perimeter defense. I said it over and over again. The 3 ball killed us. Our achilles heel. (we also should have shot it more - BenE gave up 4-5 wide open shots - this team needs a sniper in the worst way - JMart has to start and Keith has to get his confidence back from somewhere).
3 - Yanick has no killer instinct. Missing MK DID hurt in this game. I love the kid. But he's got to ATTACK and THROW down! those bunnies
4 - LB needs to fix his lineup. We need to start the big guards and ride them all day long (Sterling and JMart). Ryan Manuel needs to stay on the bench. It's sad. Need to start Nic, Sterling, JMart, Ben, Yanick. If Yanick doesn't play tougher, he's going to get benched again once MK is back and in full strength.

Bottom line - we need toughness inside and some snipers! If we don't get that quick, it will be another NIT berth for us.

Now, go beat Indy to get the bad taste out of your mouths. THAT one IS a must win.

(and I've asked several times and only get railed on here, but I'll ask it again: how is this team better than last year? we're not AND the expectations are much higher because of the cinderella run last year - don't be surprised when this team doesn't make the tourney . . . I'll be rooting like hell don't get me wrong, but many of you are going to be extremely disappointed).

It is critical to have a good showing against Indiana after getting beat like that by Gonzaga.

SMU is better this year with Kennedy

The sky is falling, the sky is falling, players suck, weak & timid, coaches suck, we're out of tourney already, blah,blah,blah......already criticizing the beloved hoops team just like the football team. I'm so surprised.
