Well, I know that some of us that were very nervous after UH loss were right on the money, and that sucks.

I guess "LOCK" as it relates to NCAA tourney, means "Lock if you don't POOP THE BED"… which as we all know now, ain't a lock at all.

American conference got little respect with Louisville being a 4 seed. A 10 got much more respect. Providence winning their conference tournament may have hurt as well.

Hard to argue. I really didn't think it would crush them as bad.

SoS also the buster - said ours was 129 and next lowest was 91 of all the rest of the teams in the field.

That said, we had d^mn well better get a couple of NIT home games out of this.

Shows everyone commenting on the "we're in" board was full of [deleted]! And that was before UCF

So much for the American being considered a "power conference". If we're getting this treatment now just wait until Louisville leaves.

All is I can say is that RESPECT is earned. NOT given to you because of your ranking.

With that said, SMU needs to;

1. Exponentially, increase our strength of schedule...especially out of conference schedule.
2. Play the stickiest, most hellacious defense we can. Just like Louisville did to us on March 5. Give 'em the old Nolan Richardson "40 minutes of hell."
3. Make every man make 10 straight free throws at the end of practice. They can't leave until they hit 10 in a row.
4. FOCUS...FOCUS...FOCUS!!!!!!!

How ironic! NC State knocked SMU out. Don't we play NC State next year?

Never been so disappointed to be right. We have zero pedigree as a program and we utterly collapsed down the stretch. I'm in Rome with my wife right now and I am seriously devastated. Never ever ever count on SMU. This should be clear to everyone now.
Back off Warchild seriously.
