For a long suffering Mavericks fan, this is truly a wonderful moment. I remember being on campus during the 90s and wearing my Jim Jackson Jersey and suffering through those awful 11,13 and 11 win seasons of the early 90s when the bottom fell out completely. I realize it will not be an easy task against the Miami Heat but this was a truly beautiful moment.

Just got back from meeting the mavs at Love Field as they got back in town - it is becoming quite an event. I would guess around 2000 people there. Also, there was some unfortunate soul who left his hyundai parked in the assigned lot where people gathered - it became a viewing platform and got completely destroyed. The roof completely collapsed.
