I don't think so, personally. The fact that Frog/Losh are eating the minutes they are, and Vilde/Manuel are sitting, defeats the ceiling of this club. What the guy needs to understand, as Hoopfan stated, is that we're buying into future's here. I'd rather lose an extra game, maybe 2, just to make sure Manuel is our PG moving forward. He gives the best opportunity to win big long term.

If not,.I worry about alienating the young talent. Just takes one of them with a high maintenance parent and you have Unc all over

Well, Manuel is already tweeting about his disappointing minutes, having heart to hearts w/his Dad, and that patience is a virtue. Jones is clearly dismayed anytime he's not on the floor, and apparently pouts even when winning. I applaud their competitiveness and mostly agree w/their complaints, so its on Doh to massage ego's and find time, all while winning

There has to be a balance to this. We can jump on Doh for all of his shortcomings and also for his handling of the team when it comes to minutes and so forth.

But with great talent we also have some ego to deal with as well. So Doh has to find a way to temper and yet establish his credibility.

I do not want this to become a situation where the inmates run the asuylum.

We will have some serious depth when Williams and Smith come back, most of the guys will not play as much as they think they deserve. This is a good problem to have. Agree that Doh has some serious work ahead of him to massage egos and keep everyone happy, it comes with the territory of being a head coach.

I noticed the Manuel tweets yesterday, too.
Someone must have got to him, because his tweets are now locked.

Oh wow, didn't realize that. Wonder if he did it, or was asked?

This is Doherty we're talking about. If you only had five dollars, which would you put it on? He lives on twitter to tell us the schedule is coming soon when a certain somebody excoriates him on the fact he's the last D1 coach to release it, or about how awesome the family LAX game he was at was.

I'm guessing he was asked/told to lock his tweets.

No clue about the tweets, but I have no problem with a coach pointing out to an 18 year old kid that more than just his friends are watching his tweets if that is what happened.
