Blah, we get the finances. They dump money in b/c of the memories they have of great friends being repercussion- less youth. Schools exist nd blong to the students, not the alumni. The alumni chooses to kick back based on great memories and nostalgia.

There will at least be a ton of basketball fans. I cant even go to a class anymore without some one bringing up SMU basketball before the teacher starts.

At least we agree schools exist for current students. I suppose that's something.

Whatever the Godfather wants, the Godfather gets. If he's gonna squash the chants and look annoyed at the students right away, probably not the best idea. Yell for your team, make fun of the other team for airballs and other traits/goofs, and cheer your arses off, but don't upset the Godfather. He is who resurrected this pile of manure to what it's become.

You know, SMU is going to be attempting to lure some quality teams to Moody to remedy our strength of schedule problem. So you people really think its a good idea to give coaches and AD's around the nation a reason not to come to Moody?
I cannot believe some of you are SMU alumni and cannot think this stuff through. These kind of antics will piss-off coach Brown and will have repercussions… and for those of you that follow through on this crap, you will have the added bonus of embarrassing yourselves.

Hey, hands off my Shi-itt on Pitt avatar! But you know that brings up something I am not really proud of. I had just turned 16, grew up a huge SMU fan. After that icy Cotton Bowl game we rushed the field. I was wearing my Shi--itt on Pitt button on my coat lapel. I stood right behind Pitt HC Foge Fazio, holding my button up over his shoulder while he was interviewed on National TV. I am sure I was probably chanting "Shi-itt on Pitt". I went home watched it on video tape, my parents were not impressed. But hey, I was 16! Live and Learn.
