I have had a long standing feud with Dish over U and News not being HD. Lots of reasons given but mainly it is just that Dish will not pay for it. However, Dish is going to offer the SEC Network and when it starts, they will be showing SEC sports on all available outlets. I am sure they will have to finally upgrade at that time. But no good today.
