Why does the staff sell so many tickets directly to ticket brokers? Heard this 3Rd person but makes sense

The tickets aren't even selling for 10 bucks on StubHub a lot of games. I doubt there's that many ticket brokers buying them. Even so, the tickets are cheaper than face on the secondary market.

To keep the seats occupied. They sell blocks at wholesale prices. Everyone does it, airlines/hotels/golf courses/Broadway musicals. Part of the reseating is to lessen the amount of brokers.
