SMU in Top 25?Moderators: PonyPride, SmooPower Re: SMU in Top 25?I think we will stay in at 25, but if we don't at least we know we will receive some votes. It is always worse to drop out receiving no votes. Another silver lining is we seem to play a tad bit better when we are not ranked.
Re: SMU in Top 25?I imagine we are out this week but Tulsa win keeps us in Top 30. A win over UCONN on national TV would put us back in Top 25.
I miss Troy Matthews.
Re: SMU in Top 25?after seeing some other ballots no respect for cinci or aac,
if we are lucky we will stay at 25 or else in RV category Mustang from India
Re: SMU in Top 25?We should be ranked. Everyone else around us stunk
Re: SMU in Top 25?
Agree. Low respect for Cinci and no respect for Tulsa "I think Couchem is right."

Re: SMU in Top 25?
He did not have SMU in his top 25 ballot last week. Pretty big improvement.
Re: SMU in Top 25?one more voter who didnt vote for us last week, put us at 22

Re: SMU in Top 25?National exposure on ESPN evidently helps.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
Re: SMU in Top 25?Based on Kenpom and RPI, 22 sounds about right.
Lunardi also may want to consider a 5 seed based on SMU's current status. Remember, 3 losses occurred without Markus, and 1 or 2 of those games may have had a changed outcome.
Re: SMU in Top 25?
If we win out including conference tourney I think you have to put us as a four.
Re: SMU in Top 25?Louisville writer has us at #20
