In our last game against UConn, the Huskies attempted 50 shots. Half of them were from 3-point range. Like stallion said drive the basket and create fouls maybe the foul calling would even out a little more

My only complaint about the refs last night was their inability to actually determine who knocked the ball out. In the first half, a Memphis player clearly took a giant swat at the ball and knocked it out of bounds but they somehow called it out on us, with no discussion.

Then in the second half they call the ball out on Memphis, then discuss and overturn the call, handing the ball back to Memphis. Which was probably the right call (or at least defensible).

What I didn't understand was them so obviously getting the call wrong in the first half and none of the refs bothering to come over and discuss. Our player went to grab the ball in a motion that was toward half court. Their player swatted toward the baseline. Ball goes out on baseline while not touching anyone after the swatting motion... how hard is it to guess who probably knocked the ball out?

And the missed traveling calls on both sides

Yeah. There were tons on both teams. I don't think that crew knew they had to actually look at the feet as well.

This is how you know you've made it...

It's literally been the excuse for every win we've had the past month or two.

Tulsa should be focusing on their next two games. They come into our house tied with us, there will be so much energy in Moody, they will get rolled out of the gym.

If one were objective half of their second chance baskets were done by going over the back of our in position player. As I learned the hard way, if all fouls were called no one would stay in the game. So, play hard and if you get called for a foul be careful after about 3 of them. Although when I coached, I did get t'd up once when the ref came by and said, "if you can do a better job...", to which I replied, "give me your whistle".

glad we won and beat the phony shaq although i have to give him some credit. he was their only decent player last night. they would have lost by 30 w/o him.
