That was Gampel Arena (Storrs) not the XL Center (Hartford). Uconn plays almost all of its "Big" games in Hartford b/c Storrs is located in the middle of nowhere (think 30 miles west of Denton).

Not that it will matter all that much around here while we are still wallowing in abject shock/grief/anger at yesterday's results - the AAC does still have two teams alive in the NIT, who could conceivably meet in the championship game...

Temple is a #1 seed and Tulsa is a #2 seed. Would be great for the AAC to have them both get to MSG

If both AAC teams make the finals, and they still hose our conference... that's really sad.

It's a really empty feeling being part of the "have-nots", and having an institution (NCAA/ESPN) systematically devalue you.

If we deserved to be in a small conference, it would be easier to swallow. But it's hard to see our academics, coaches (commitment to athletics), city, infrastructure and history be ignored. Really hard.

I feel bad for Murray St. They went 16-0 during the regular season in conference, then lost their conference tournament championship. That's tough.
