How quickly this team is sinking to the bottom of the AAC. They might win another game or two, but this basketball season is OVER and I guess it's time to start thinking about spring football and a program that actually appears to be improving.

You wonder what a good coach could do with this team. They play with energy and seem to have some talent.

I think I could make a more compelling argument that if LB was taking over this team, the only 3 players that would remain are Whitt, Hunt and Mike.

Didn’t watch a single second. This after going to every single game for 5+ years. In fact, I forgot there was even a game until the espn app told me we lost. Glad I didn’t waste my time and watch a sinking ship to South Florida.......SOUTH [deleted] FLORIDA.

Keep Jank if you want a team in the lower half of the conference..... a conference that this year will land 2 tournament spots.... hardly a powerhouse conference....

The defensive intensity of the team is awful the majority of the night. That keeps the crowd from getting into it. If we played defense outside of the last 5 minutes of the game, it would have helped us win as well.

Ok I’m sorry but we had like 3 games pretty close together where we are up by 1 or 2 and we let them get an open 3 to get the lead. My question is especially for today: why would you not foul the guy or play man and keep any 3 point shot from happening? If you foul, they have to make 2 baskets (easy to choke) and worst case tie the game. We would have 15 or so seconds and take a time out. All we would have to do is go for a high percentage 2 and maybe even get foul to win the game. I just hate especially how bad our defense is to let them to determine the game.

That would be my guess...along with a 1st round loss in the AAC Tourney, depending on our seeding and matchup (most likely UConn or Tulsa at this point). Definitely looks like another losing season.

You forgot Cincy as one of the NCAA bid contenders and as young as that USF team is, they belong with UCF on the bubble. Wichita State and Tulsa are more likely to join that group than SMU without McMurray, so that leaves us with ECU and Tulane as bottom feeders.
