Two things can be true at once. A person can be a good person. Someone that people like and want to be around. AND that same person can be in over their head at their job, not willing to do what it takes to succeed at their job AND/OR just want to go home and get paid instead of doing their job.
The UCF game was an embarrassment of epic proportion. There is no excuse, cold shooting or not.

How can you consider him to be a good person when he is blatantly stealing from university donors? It would be different if he was trying, but the guy doesn't try.

SMU Athletic Director Rick Hart probably has something like this already in the works. According to a report from USA Today, SMU paid Brown approximately $2.8 million in his first year as head coach. Some of that came in the form of a bonus, meaning his annual salary was lower. But still, SMU was willing to pay almost $3 million to a 71-year-old coach known for not staying in one place for long. It only makes sense that Jankovich, a younger, proven winner, would be offered the same deal if not a better one."https://www.smudailycampus.com/sports/s ... -jankovich

I can tell you what would happen if an Arkansas coach wore any other school apparel but the Razorbacks. He would be FIRED!
