If Billy is so bad, than how do Acie Law and Chris Walker love him like a father?

That's cool and hope BCG comes out on top somewhere....he is just not a fit for SMU and won't be a candidate if a spot were to open. We wish him the best in his rehab recovery and don't mean to kick him when he's down, but tell him good luck in his travels.

He's a derelict of the highest order.

OMG, if we hire Gillespie, our PG troubles are solved next year w/the addition of KC Ross-Miller. Oh yeah, admissions won't let him in. Damn. BCG should go to Houston, he can get Miller in there

I totally agree that these guys are stoolies for BG...waste of our time here. Tell him to go coach his alma mater Graford High this next year....

Ponydoh/Ponyscott must secretly be players who will be part of the group that is sent down the road after the change. McCoy is that you over there??? The only junk being wrote on this board is you two trying to analyze why a 7 win team can't get it done. I never said I was a booster or in the admin but YES I am a new fan of the ponys that knows more about what's going on then you do. Ponydoh if you think KC Ross-Miller was my big secret you are a serious fraud who knows nothing. Ponyscott let Ponydoh reply to this first and then you can throw your two cents in after. That seems like a popular trend for you.

What a grade A [deleted] post. Hilarious talking about sending kids down the road that are currently working hard. Even funnier that you chose McCoy considering what he's going through. About as classy as your boy, Clyde. At least Clyde can blame being a [deleted] on liquor, what's your excuse?

FWIW, my KC Ross Miller reference had nothing to do w/anything. It was an example of a kid we can't take according to admissions. Nobody from God's Academy is coming to SMU
You aren't an SMU fan, you're a Clyde fan. That's very sad indeed.

BTW, plenty around UTEP and A&M had problems w/Clyde, don't fool yourself

what do you make of the players stuck in bathroom stalls and on equipment trailer trucks at UK?
Sounds like a dikhead to me. We shall see won't we -- 3/14 is the end of the season.

Im sure your the type of guy that thinks this guy was to [deleted] his players also haha

If you read the whole story by the amateur rivals writer you see Josh says he still has a good relationship with Coach G. Interesting.....

Ponydoh, Im sure you did think I was talking about Miller, good save by saying you were making an example, im sure it fooled some of the readers of this board but not me. As for the utep/a&m rumors please do share with us all. Utep's old AD is currently at Houston via Akron and would try to hire BCG today if it was not for how well respected Penders is as a coach. He built A&M basketball if it wasn't for him they would be compared to basketball programs like...ummm...SMU? The reason for my first post EVER on this board was to give HOPE to SMU basketball fans. That change is coming and you won't have to spend time on Ponyfans.com talking about things like: Why cant we win? What is the problem with this team? Will this nightmare ever end? Well, my good friends it will end soon. Finally,my excuse? Well I guess it would be knowing whats going to happen in the future and wanting SMU basketball fans to know about it before it happens. So they know that this bad stretch wont last forever and there is hope. I don't mean to put down the players, it's hard to be on a bad team and working as hard as they do on a daily basis. They DO deserve better, a better coach, better players around them to help their improvement on a daily basis. This is a business though and as we all know in the real world if you do not produce you are relieved of your position, unless your daddy owns the company. So this means some of the players will have to be let go for the good of the program. Lifes a [deleted] but thats just how it is. It's easy to kick a man when he's down and has personal issues but luckily in America we like to forgive if that person seeks help and admits to their problems. Hell our president smoked crack and admitted to it, look where he's at now. Clyde will be an alcoholic for the rest of his life, its a daily battle for individuals with that curse, but he will make it through and tell others of his struggles and help prevent them from going down the same road. Which will only make his story that much better in the end. Will you support Clyde if he is winning games and competing for conference titles and playing NCAA tournament games? You will say its not going to happen but I guess time will tell how big of a PONY fan you really are. Deep down I think you will, you seem pretty die hard SMU and supporters like that help programs immensely. Your just a little bitter from the past but your day will come my good man.
Here's another link by a current NBA player talking about MY MAN BCG...I'm sure he was just lying in this interview.

We shall see what happens....3/14/10! Just in time for the NCAA tournament/Final Four so that this program can finally get some media attention, good and bad. Good by national media and the bad coming from the Kentucky Media.

By the way, Ponyscott your terrible at this game. Your posts crack me up. I laugh thinking about what YOU think you know about the game of basketball. You were the kid that in college blamed his high school coach for screwing him out of a scholarship.Hahaha

It's true, you are a beacon of hope in the dark ages of roundball. The north star shining brightly over the SMU hoops community. We bow down to you, o'redneck soothsayer, who is probably an Aggie. As for Ross-Miller, you're spending too much time reading the tea leaves, as you yourself said high major transfers, not illiterate high school kids w/cooked transcripts.

As I start this paragraph, I'd like you to note the proper use of the paragraph, as your first one of that last post, gave me a migraine. So that you know, running kids off is not a new coaches God-given right. In fact, it's considered bad form and highly controversial at most schools. If you were here years ago, you'd understand that unilateral control over the roster, w/the intention of gutting it, has to be cleared administratively. Does anyone believe that we're going to kick out multiple kids, all upperclassmen, that are in a position to graduate? We've done it once, so it's not impossible, but talent isn't really the issue is it. How bout any potential new coach just coaches them up? Novel concept. It's never a given that new coaches get to run off kids. Many high majors that I know of, have policy against this sort of behavior. In short, it has to be approved by folks higher on food chain. I'm quite sure you know nothing of being high on the food chain, though.

FWIW, I have nothing to be bitter about, as I'm not just an SMU booster, but a partial building partner at an ACC school, that has a national title and multiple Final 4s this decade. A clean program, something BCG knows nothing about. A program that has a HOF coach, something BCG knows nothing about. I happen to know how that coach feels about BCG and how he's perceived in the coaching fraternity. He's a lush, an egomaniac, and w/o morality. Who better to teach kids?

You stink of being a BCG plant, and I get it, I really do. I hope the guy finds sobriety and humility. He's an awful fit for this job. That said, Orsini is a grade A cumquat when it comes to basketball, so stranger things have happened. If he does do a head in the sand coaching search, and comes back w/a BCG type, his time should be up as well. Integrity matters, you aggie vinegar-based vaginal wash

Ok guys, I'll fess up. I planted TxBball and the other guy just to move the needle on acceptance and stir the pot w/ Billy Clyde so that I could pave the way for Quin. My bad. Cmon now, admit it, Snyder>Gillespie. I ask you, who would fit in better? Quin could, like Doh, stroll the Blvd, but unlike Doh, he'd fit in and be able to solicit the support of the Greeks. Coach Snyder, welcome aboard.

I like Quin more then BCG, and I've seen Quin do blow, albeit it was 15 plus years ago. He took it like a pro

Look for Billy to bring tough man to man defense, and maybe a little triangle and two from time to time. Guy flat out brings the tough D. Also Billy loves coaching young men how to play right.
