Yesterday in the post game interview Doherty said SMU needed to keep it in the 50's to win, and he gets the team to do it, very nearly pulling off a win. We are very lucky to have him.

He mentioned that again and said "no moral victories"

Yes, but I like the fact we have a coach that knows what the team needs to do to win and executes. When Coach D's team plays to 50 points it is becuse they are following a plan, as opposed to the SMU teams of the recent past that scored 50 due to excessive turnovers and missed shots.
