Just posted my thoughts right before your post.

Team did look better, looked for the first best shot and never ran the shot clock down. Lot of screens. Shot the 3 pointer pretty well tonight. Still missed too many easy shots.

Defense was awesome, we really shut them down tonight, their best players had awful nights.

We were a bit careless with the ball down the stretch with several TOs and near TOs, but we also forced 21 turnovers and got 23 points off of those.

Nice win.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

I'm ashamed to say that this was my first SMU basketball game. The attendance was shockingly bad. Is it always like that? I wasn't expecting much, but whoh... I heard someone's phone ring from across the arena.

Hard to build attendance with the longest conference losing streak since 1982.

when you are in LAST place and have terrible attendance to begin with - this is what you get.

I enjoyed the game tonight, thought we showed some great teeth on defense and shot the ball well. Maybe the kids were energized by Jerryl Sasser sitting with Dement (and little Dement was running around too I think). I still think Jalen and Canen look irritated most of the time, and Jalen could not get free of a lot of Tulane attention.

Still nice to get the win, now let's see if we can finish strong and win a couple more....

No problem Treadway. It was nice to get off work early enough to watch a majority of the game (and post).

I was also there. It was a small crowd but I enjoyed the game, especially the second half. Unfortunately I will miss the last game, and our charge to the title in Memphis but something tells the me the off season should be pretty entertaining.

You need to stop attending games for the teams you care about lol! Mavs, break their winning streak as soon as you show up and SMU breaks its losing streak as soon as you don't!
