Keith needs to be freed from his shackles. Just let him be Keith.

He took two shots one foot inside the arc. I hate that shot.

- Shake looked great. Love his size on the ball. Great read on the steal and dunk too.
- Nic had a ton of energy tonight. I think he had to hold back last year because if he got hurt or foul trouble the team was screwed. Now we have others who can score and handle and he can let it loose and just play.
- I feel bad for Keith, he wants to fit in the offense really bad. But he ends up forcing shots.
- 10 had a little Manual deer in the headlights when he first went on the court, but looked good. Nice to have a 3.
- Jank said postgame that Sed had a fever and had to skip shootaround and practice, but his fever broke right before the game and so he put him in the last two minutes.
- Really liked to hear Jank post-game. He is going to be a good coach when Larry steps down. His insights on the new rules were interesting. I drew out of it that with the new foul calls and shot clock, guard play is going to be even more important than in the past. It made me think if it is a tactical decision to go after a lot of guards with size and limit the number of bigs. If you have to play more compact man or zone to limit fouls, you need size to guard the perimeter and give people space to avoid the drive and foul, but also step forward and challenge a shot. You are also going to need to shoot well from the outside because teams are going to really pack it in now to avoid fouls.
- Liked the 2-3 as well as the 1-3-1. Different zones at different times. We obviously have practiced a lot of zone. Curious to find out as the season goes along if it is really to protect our bigs from foul trouble or if it is because our frosh guards aren't good at man defense yet.

Nic moores shoe selection is all the proof I need that Larry isn't in any communication with the team

i think this year Larry would say "hell yes - the louder the shoes the better". This team is going to have some fun, and i don't blame them.

Those shoes are epic.

Ben is going to be fine. College players are kids that grow into their game right? Two years to hit your potential isn't bad at all.
