Derrick Roberts injury

hopefully, its only a sprain like the paper reported. Out for a couple weeks. Even though hes just a freshman, I think he could help this team quite a bit.

Hoop Fan, I'm with you on Roberts. I have been told a staff person who attends practices regularly that he very well might start on this team.
Unfortunately, he apparently is expected to miss the first two games.

This injury needs to be 100% healed before he plays. There is no reason to have be at 75-80% for the entire year like what happened to Hopkins his freshman year.

Roberts is ok. He'll be fine by the start of the season

Not from what I heard. Whatever the official diagnosis, the coaches/training staff need to err on the side of caution here. From what I've been told, Roberts is a natural scorer, not just a dunker. Be careful with this guy, don't rush him back too soon. Get him healthy. I'm eager to see him play.
