Okie St could come into Moody on Nov 29th as a top 5 team. They are ranked #7 in the preseason poll and I looked at their schedule.....they will be 3-0 coming to Dallas. We need to sell that game out. Let the big-time Texas recruits going to OSU next year, and that's damn near the top five players in Texas, know that they should've looked at SMU a little closer. We need a great crowd and a lot of students at Moody Nov 29th.
Other notables: UTEP got seven votes and believe it or not, Rice received 2....hummm.
Only one non-BSC conference school made the top 25- #25 Gonzaga. (I already consider Louisville and Pitt as being in the Big East)

I agree, SMU needs to do everything possible to pack Moody Coliseum when OSU comes to the Hilltop.
Win or lose, big-time college basketball atmosphere in Moody would be an important step forward for SMU athletics in 2004-05.

We need to keep the game competitive. It doesn't do any good to play a team like OSU if you get your [deleted] handed to you like we did last year. That blow-out loss on national TV did absolutely nothing to help the program last year.

DePaul is not BCS, but like Louisville they will be in the Big East next year.

Being a basketball affiliate is much easier because in basketball anyone can win the national title or at least compete to win a national title. You don't have to be one of about 20 schools that are allowed to win it.
