SMU hosts block party
Posted: Sat Nov 20, 2004 12:24 pmOK, UT-Tyler was a team without a lot of height. But we had 12 blocked shots -- FIVE by Devon Pearson (player of the game, in my opinion). In addition to the fact that we were bigger than UTT, it also was an indication of the increased hustle on the defensive end. While the offense gels and the Ponnies work out the kinks, the defense will need to carry the team.
