SMU is an 11 pt underdog tonight vs. OSU. Any thoughts on this? I figured it would be closer to 20 after SMU's first two performances.

OSU struggled again in the first half against Sam Houston St. SHSU was up 6 at the half. Lucas then took over in the 2nd half to make the final 73-57.
I'm pumped for this game. SMU needs to start off hot.

I'd worry more about Graham than Lucas. Hopkins can take Lucas like he did two years ago. The key will be if SMU can keep them off of the boards. Chances are we will have to give help on their inside guys as the game goes on and Bobik or who ever else they have will hit some open bombs from the corners and wings.
Its a good opportunity for this veteran team to show what its got. I'd like our chances better if we could count on a louder home crowd. Teams like OK State always get an emotional lift in Dallas because all their local alumni are so jacked because its the only game of the year they get to see in person for most of them.

Nothing irks me worse than being the 'visitor" on our own court. I hope the students will turn out in force tonight.
We find out tonight whther the Ponies have been playing down to competition or if we have a problem for 04-05. Here's for the Ponies going all out tonight.

From the meaningless rankings department:
Current sagarins 11/28:
SMU 117
Okie St. 130
Ha! That was a good one...

I thought about that too. I'm absolutely convinced that Hopkins does exactly that. I think he'll have a solid game tonight after having looked pretty bad against MSU. Let's see tomorrow if I'm right.

Well, at least I didn't waste my time on being only partially wrong.
