I WAITED FOR THE END OF FOOTBALL SEASON FOR THIS??
Posted: Wed Dec 01, 2004 10:16 pmThe only thing that got me through another embarassing football season was knowing that the basketball team was bringing virtually everybody back. A team that beat two top 25 teams (T.Tech and Purdue), and played a third very close (Wake Forest).
And the best news was that we had Jimmy Tubbs coming in to get the best out of the group.
What the heck has happened outside of BHop forgetting how to shoot or lead a basketball team. The whole team seems two steps slow, errant passes and telegraphed passes are commonplace. Nothing looks even remotely good.
Hopkins will hopefully figure out why he is playing the worst basketball of his life, but Jimmy doesn't have anything else working at all. I am VERY surprised they are playing at such an embarassing level.
I hope they right the ship, but I don't like any aspect of what I have seen so far through 4 games.
