Refs sounding like they're not calling anything for either team.

SMU: 39
Hawaii: 31

SMU 40% from the 3 point line
Hawaii 50% from the 3 point line

11-25 Overall, crazy.

Another very bad loss, to a Hawaii team that was 5-5 coming into the game. Not to mention that it was at home. I don't want to hear the usual cries of "we're young" or "too many injuries" SMU should have won these last two games.

We started out good but all of a sudden stoped playing. Had we been able to make the ball actually go through the hoop in the last 5:00 we would have won. I'd like to see the shooting % for those last minutes.

Hey 2112, you're right that we should have won both games. I was as disappointed as anyone walking out of Moody last night. But please don't forget that this IS a very young team. We start one red shirt and two TRUE freshmen. Katy Cobb was playing 2A ball this time last year. They need to learn how to handle ups and downs in a D-I season.

This team has "overachieved" to some extent with wins over tournament teams from last year (Maine and Mississippi). I'm happy to see the success they've had so far. Before the season, any of us would have taken 12-3 at this point - you can't deny that. Maybe they got caught up in their fast start and needed to be brought back to earth a little.

Let's hope they work their way through this and come out stronger the rest of the year - and over the next few years as well.
