good second half and nice job by Roberts hitting all those FTs down the stretch to put this one away. Good to win one with BHop on the shelf.

Good job, Ponies! And La. Tech beat UTEP, for whatever that's worth.

Ponies were terrible during the middle of the game on both ends of the court. However, they really played hard and Tubbs would not let them quit. A good win without Hop. Pearson is really coming on and had 19 points. Csstro played his usual tough game. Ritter played a lot and looks like he has a solid future with a little maturity.

Sure is.
Pearson is getting better in every game. He did hit a drought late in the first half (as did the whole team) and early in the second, but did yall see the note -- career highs in FIVE categories (3-pointers made, 3-pointers attempted, steals, assists and rebounds) for Pearson tonight? I call that a great night.
Castro was his usual solid self tonight. I've always liked him, but I'd be lying if I told you I'd predict a season like he's had. Great guy, and it's good to see. Now if only he can get his free throws untracked....
Simpson's still gimpy, but he's showing his courage and tolerance for pain in the last few games.
Ritter -- what a monster. He should play defensive line.
What about Mike Dement junior? When's the last time he got in during the first half?
Before his career, Derrick Roberts might be the best of all the players on the roster. He's a freshman playing on an injured knee, and at times he looks amazing.
Nice win -- KEEP IT UP, GUYS!
(What's happened to Chris Reay?)
