First comes wining at home, then comes winning on the road. When the team can claim the close games, then there will be more Wins than Loses.
This year's record is neither good or bad fair to middling.

all you can say about this year is that this team has won every game they were expected to win and lost every game they were expected to lose. I guess you have to concede they have been consistent. What they desperately need RIGHT NOW is to go on a 5 game winning streak leading into the UTEP game. Let's at least salvage this season with a winning record.
Aside from a winning season, all that's left for this team to accomplish is to actually win a game they are not supposed to. That would mean beating UTEP in El Paso or advancing to the finals of the WAC Tourney. These guys beat TTech and Purdue last year when not many expected them to. Do they have any more upsets left in them? Most people will tell you that senior laden teams play their best ball at the end of the season, because they have more of a sense of urgency. I was counting on Simpson, Castro & Isham to make that happen for this year's team. We shall see.
