Am I nuts to think he could -- or at least should -- be an all-WAC honoree? He hasn't had any 40-point games, but he's quietly been extremely consistent and valuable this year. Seems like every game out, he's going for 16 points and 11 rebounds. He never has the highlight-reel dunks (CAN he dunk?), but he never has one of those games that leave you asking "what was wrong with Castro tonight?" Day in and day out, he gets it done. Here's hoping E.C. gets the recognition he deserves. I don't know that he will, but he certainly should.

I agree. I also am concerned about who is going to fill those big shoes next year. Castro plays lots of minutes for a reason. Even when he gets in foul trouble, Tubbs plays him as much as possible especially on the offensive end of the court.

I'm very curious about our interior offense when Castro and Simpson graduate. Will be we be a perimeter-only team while Rack and Fall develop?

Castro was a good player his first three years, but he's made more progress this year than anyone on the team. He's been terrific.

Castro has had a great year. He is the Mustang MVP so far. Solid almost every game with lots of minutes. Big difference from last year. We'll certainly miss his inside presence, rebounds, and scoring. Ritter, Reay, Rack, and Fall.....hmmm. Not real impressive.

Once again, next year we'll be talking about the next year ....

Reay is not blessed with enough talent to play at this level. Godd kid and will give you everything he's got but it just is not enough.
