credit where due

glad to see Coach Tubbs getting some credit this morning. He is really doing a good job. Even with the massive injuries, this team has had a legit chance to win every conference game its played home or away, with the exception of at Hawaii.

It looks like he has the right dose of tough love with the players on the sideline and he is working the refs at the right times. Our defense is not great by any stretch, but he has shored it up significantly and teams dont get as many wide open looks against us.

I don't think this mini winning streak means we are on our way. Going on the road has a way of really exposing depth, but Tubbs has brought a toughness to this team. I worry that Roberts is out for the season, it does not look good anytime ACL is mentioned. Hope Simpson can get back next week and be ready for the stretch run. Seniors tend to get very focused and determined this time of the year when the end of your career is in sight.
