WAC Tourney

How will this team finish and what position will they have come WAC Tourney time? I wonder whether 8-8 will earn 6th place and a 1st round bye? Need to avoid 7th place and a play-in game only to then have a date with either UTEP or Nevada. Would be one heck of a finish to win 3 of the next 4 going into the tourney. Any word on how serious Simpson and Roberts injuries are?

Call me crazy, but I still believe it is possible for this team to have success at the tourney. They MUST finish in the top six so they can avoid the play in game, and they also have to avoid being in the same bracket with Nevada. IF both scenarios happen and they stay healthy they could certainly make it to the championship game. Not saying they will, just saying they have proved they can play with anyone in the WAC.

This team will go as far as Hopkins (Bryan) can take them. In other words.....which Hopkins will show up? The one that scores 25 pts and 6 assists or the one that scores 10 pts, shooting 4-15 with 6 TO's.
Even if Hopkins plays well this team just doesn't have what it takes to win this tournament. I don't see them getting past the semi's.....even playing solid basketball.

This year the ponies can win their first game int he WAC tournament, but is probably there limit.
