With 4 games to go, a 2-2 split

Boise could be a road win. UTEP is a sure road loss. Tulsa is a home win. Rice is a toss up at home. Much as I would like for us to do better, we'll probably go 2-2 over the final four games. If so, where does that place us in the first round of the WAC?

Hawaii is the team to watch. It's probably going to come down to SMU and Hawaii for 6th place and of course, 7th place gets you a "play in" game against the last place finisher...with the winner playing the 2 seed which will probably be UTEP. Really need to win 3 0f these last 4 to guarantee 6th place and a 1st round bye. Hawaii finished with UTEP, Nefada and Fresno all at home and a road trip to Rice & Tulsa. I expect they will finish no better than 9-9
