Tulsa game prediction

Postby Hoop Fan » Thu Mar 03, 2005 5:13 pm

let me go on record as predicting a tough, very close game tonight. Tulsa's record is bad, but they are dangerous. They have beaten Utep, Fresno and Hawaii this year. And they lost very close games with Nevada, at Hawaii and Rice. Plus they always have a Dallas kid or two who play hard for their family and friends. I think the 7 point spread is out of line tonight. We might win by 7, but it could get touchy.

definitely a tough one. I look at the win at their place as great win now.
TU needs a real coach, not sure what they are waiting for.

Helluva prediction, HF. You were right about a close game....and the 7 point spread. Those guys in Vegas are amazing.
Hop was big at the end. We're an average team with a very good player- who's good about 60% of the time. Simp was solid tonight, and someone summed it up perfectly about Isham...he's tough to figure out.

my takeaway from tonight is Tubbs will just not let these guys quit. We missed Pearson alot, especially on the boards. Would have been a bad loss, but Hopkins saved the day. He would not miss down the stretch. It was good to see him go to Castro at the beginning of OT and say this game is ours.
