"You shoot 31 percent for the basketball game, chances are, you're not going to win it," SMU coach Jimmy Tubbs said. "If affected our defense. One of our weaknesses is outside shooting, that's no secret."

"I never expected to lose by such a huge margin," SMU guard Bryan Hopkins said after scoring 14 points on 4-of-14 shooting. "We played Rice competitively all year, but today we didn't shoot the ball very well."

"It's all about recruiting," Tubbs said. "You don't win with coaching. You win with good players." Stallion LOVES this!!!

Well, then it's a good thing he's recruited a good outside shooter in Matt Williams from TCA-Addison.
