WOW.....Huge upset in the WAC

Not that it matters anymore, but the 8th seed Boise State, a team we beat in Boise by 20 a couple weeks ago btw, knocked off top seed Nevada last night in Reno. That tourney is wide open now, its too bad that we left so quickly and quietly.

That is VERY surprising...especially playing at home. Boise State sucks.
I am rooting for RICE to win it all...I can't stand UTEP.

well utep is in the finals, they knocked off rice, and amazingly they'll take on boise state, who upset fresno in the semis after upseting nevada in the quarters.

As much as I hate UTEP, I hope they kill Boise State who has no business being in the finals.

UTEP should kill Boise but if not...that should really mess up some other bubble teams around the nation

If Boise pulled off the miracle (how could a team that bad play so well against Nevada) and won the WAC, would Nevada or UTEP still make it?
And as much as it would mess with the brackets, that kind of Cinderella story is fun to watch. Boise doesn't belong in the NCAAs, of course, but if they make it, I hope they knock off Duke in the first round before reality sets in.

Despite their stumble, ESPN is still predicting that Nevada has done enough to earn a trip to the dance.
As for cinderella stories...got to love Oakland already in despite their 12-18 record!

UTEP & Nevada will both dance...unless Boise wins the Tourney amd automatic bid. No way the WAC deserves 3 teams in the NCAA

well utep beats boise, nice run for them but utep takes the automatic bid, nevada should get in but they deserve to have to sweat it out till tomorrow, there was really no excuse for them losing to boise on their home court
