Tubbs on Channel 5 sports

I thought Jimmy did a pretty good job on channel 5 sports tonight discussing the NCAA tournament brackets. He was a little nervous but very articulate. During the broadcast, he was asked about the prospects for his 2005 team. He said that recruiting had gone well and he was excited about Dez and Bomba joining the team. He believes Bomba is going to be a very good player. The other players mentioned were Hop and Pearson. Based on his comments, you would expect a starting five of Hop, Dez, Pearson, Fall and a player to be named later. Hope that player is some stud forward we don't know about yet.

I'm used to hearing Coach Tubbs on the radio after games, when his voice is so raspy you almost can't hear him. He sure sounded different when he hasn't been working the refs for a few hours. I thought he did a very good job.
