I don't know what West Virgina finally shot from the three point line but with a few minutes left West Virgina was hitting about 75%-yes 75% from the 3 point line including about 20 threes and somehow Louisville ties it in regulation and wins going away in OT. Never seen a team shoot that well and LOSE. Well at least Louisville is leaving a nice parting gift to CUSA-cash and credits..

And some of that CUSA cash goes to US, right?

West Virginia is a pretty anonymous team in my world -- I hardly knew they had a team. But Stallion is right -- their shooting was completely insane. At one point, they were 15-of-18 from THREE-POINT RANGE. There are a lot of teams -- a LOT of teams -- that can't shoot free throws at that rate. West Virginia doesn't have the horses that Louisville has, and ultimately it cost the 'Neers. But that shooting display was ridiculous. In the second half, WVU had 65 points, 45 of which had come on 3s. Somewhere Dr. James Naismith was rolling over in his grave.

Hats off to WVU for a terrific effort, and to Louisville for coming back like it did, especially with it's best two players on the bench.
