Basketball recruiting

Does anyone know how Tubbs is doing in recruiting local players? Last year Baylor was able to outrecruit us for Roberts who was a local player. Aside from him, does Tubbs have any other local kids interested in coming to SMU? I thought all of the local high school coaches sent letters to Copeland during his coaching search in support of Tubbs. It appears none of them have sent players our way. Maybe SMU is not well thought of around here. Can someone with more information about the program share some thoughts on this subject. Thanks.

sounds to me that old billy joe is not a newbie but someone who has another name here and wants to stir sh*t up and get their point across in a new way.

So what your saying Pony Dawg is you do not have the answer to my question. I thought Tubbs was a great recruiter. I was wondering if anyone knows why he has not landed any big time local recruits yet. I think it is a legitimate question to ask. Take your negative bashing somewhere else.

First of all, Tubbs is doing very well overall. Dez Willingham was a big time local high schooler a few years ago who Tubbs got to transfer here. That counts, and maybe more because this guy had a good year as a freshman in the Big 12. Second, although not a local, landing Brian Morris was a good get for Tubbs. Tubbs will do fine locally and probably hit a big fish or two sooner or later. As you know, Moody needs a renovation and we dont have a practice gym, not exactly the best situation to recruit to right now.

We'll get some of that Baylor talent back once they figure out how bad things will be the next few years while Baylor is in the NCAA jail. So Billy Joe go give Scott Drew a great big wet one okay!

HAHAHA......negative bashing.
I don't care what you have to say positive or negative about the coaches, teams, recruiting, ect., I just come here to read, laugh, and post what I have heard thru the pathetic grapevine.
my only point is I bet you have another "call sign" other than Billy Joe that has many more posts on it and that you switched your name to get a rise out of people. Don't really care if I am right or wrong. Hope it works, helps get me thru the work day.
