UNIVERSITY PARK – Mesquite high school forward Delisha Wills, the ninth ranked player in the state according to Texas Hoops, said she's made an oral commitment to play at SMU.

Wills, who averaged 15 points and ten rebounds per game as a junior last season, said she picked SMU over Miami, TCU and Arkansas. Wills said she wanted to stay close to home as the reason for her commitment to the Mustangs.

The 5-10 Wills will play small forward in college.

Oral commitments are nonbinding and the first day a prospective recruit can sign the national letter of intent is Nov. 9.

I hate to give TCU credit for .... anything, really, but it's true that they've built a decent team over there. What's the women's hoops scene like at Miami and Arkansas?
