Bryan isnt suspended, and it isnt for a set number of games. He's academically ineligible for the first semester. That means he can return when the semester is over, if his grades are straightened out. I believe that the earliest he could come back is Dec. 6th, which would be after OSU.

Can he practice with the team right now?

Yes and no. As far as the school is concerned, he can practice. But the last time I watched practice he was still rehabbing his foot. He rode a stationary bike and shot around on his own. That was more than a week ago, though, so he could be practicing now. Basically, when he's healthy he can practice.

Physically, how does he look? Close to playing weight?

Bryan looks 8-9 pounds heavier than this point last year. And he is able to practice now.

It was stated on the radio broadcast that the first game he will be eligible to play in is against Savannah State on Dec. 19th.

O.K., so if BHop has taken care of his academics and returns after the Hardin-Simmons game (at which point SMU should be 4-3), what would the record have been?
I sure hope we get to find out what kind of difference one guy can make. My guess is that with BHop, this team is 5-1 right now. He might have even been a difference maker last night and these guys could be 6-0.
