Slim Shady has a teammate at SOC named Ronnie Morgan. Shady had 15 points in a game last night, while Morgan put up 40! I don't know Morgans recruiting status, but add him to the local prospect list. He's been known as a good player, but it seems he is breaking out right now.

Ronnie Morgan
PF/SF
6'7'' 210lbs
High on Arkansas, Louisiana Tech and Western Illinois. Currently has two offers: LT & Western Illinois
Rated as the preseason #39 player in Texas.
Played at DeSoto High school last season.
Borrowing from TexasHoops.com: Texas Hoops Analysis: Ronnie is a raw athlete who can really run the floor and finish on the break. He is quick to the hole from 10-12 feet out and finishes well around the goal. He is a good rebounder, has a long body, can block shots and is a very active and energetic player.

Ronnie is a power forward who wants to be a small forward. He's working on developing some range on his jump shot, and better ball handling. he had a good summer, and is getting attention from some mid-majors. He wants to go to a bigger program. I dont know what his interest level in us, or ours in him, might be.
Ronnie may turn out to be a sleeper this year, he's athletic enough to play at a big program but not generally considered tall enough for power forward, thats why he's working on developing a mid-range game. The recruiting services dont have him ranked too high (no stars on Rivals) but if he has a big year against teams that are packing their defense around Arthur, then the transfer to SOC could bring him alot more attention.

We want his younger brother, Bo who is 6'10" and still growing. Ronnie is a "tweener".

everybody wants BoBo. Illinois, Kentucky, A&M, I'm sure the list goes on and on. He might be well served to stay in the area, but you know the pressure will be huge from the big boys.

How can we get the big players when only 1000 people go to the game?

Here's a thought - win a few meaningful games and quit losing to schools like La-Monroe. One post season game in 12 years (NIT loss to SW Missouri St) will not get it done.

I am assuming it is, but what if the "team" had a few Bentley's or something that were available for "team purposes" is that a violation?
